MS RA 2 Nile cruise is a 5 star deluxe Nile Cruiser for an ultimate Egyptian River Nile experience.
The RA 2 is popular with the UK market with guests returning year after year for their Nile Cruise experience. The RA 2 Cabins have balconies and the ship has its own private mooring (so, no climbing over many boats at the moorings !)
The RA 2 is British built to a high standard with facilities on board including a luxury swimming pool, sun deck with bar, recreation area, gymnasium, jacuzzi and even a helicopter pad should you wish to arrive in true style ! The on-board facilities also include satellite telephone systems, facsimile machines, individual safes, laundry service, a boutique, a gift shop, and a hair salon.
Dining: Your cruise is on full board basis providing Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, all served buffet style with a variety of cuisines - daily afternoon tea is served on the sun deck. After dinner enjoy a drink in the Lounge Bar - there's also entertainment in the evening.
Room Information: The RA 2 features 72 comfortable cabins each with its own private bathroom, balcony, controlled air-conditioning, internal and external telephone, television, VCR, and sound system.
Practical Information & Sightseeing Package included with this cruise:
Day 1 Embarkation in Luxor. Lunch on board - afternoon at leisure.
Overnight in Luxor with dinner on board (dependent on arrival time).
Day 2 Sail at dawn for Dendera, Morning visit to the Temple of the
Goddess Hathor. Lunch is served on board whilst we sail back
to Luxor for a late afternoon arrival. Overnight in Luxor with
dinner on board.
Day 3 Early morning visit to the west bank taking in: Valley of the Kings,
Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board and
afternoon at leisure whilst sailing to Esna and the lock.
Overnight in Esna with dinner on board.
Day 4 Early morning sailing to Edfu to visit the Temple of the God Horus.
Lunch in served on board whilst sailing to Kom-Ombo.
Sail to Aswan arriving late afternoon. Overnight with dinner.
Day 5 Visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the
Goddess Isis. Lunch on board. Felucca ride on the Nile
Overnight in Aswan with dinner on board..
Day 6 Optional excursion to Abu Simbel, Sail to Kom-Ombo to visit the
temple. Lunch on board then sail to Esna. Overnight in Esna with
dinner on board.
Day 7 Sail to Luxor, Lunch on board, Visit the Temples of Luxor and
Karnak. Overnight in Luxor with dinner on board.
Day 8 Disembarkation after breakfast.
