Highlights: A whirlwind tour of the best that Egypt has to offer. Travel on a
felucca down the Nile and experience Nubian village life. Explore the ancient sites of Luxor and Aswan and discover the most famous of them all, the great Pyramids of Giza.

ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Cairo
Arrive in Cairo at any time
Day 2 Cairo
Explore the Great Pyramids at Giza and the famous Sphinx, perhaps topping off your visit with an optional camel ride. Buzzing with activity, Cairo is a mix of modern and ancient wonders. Be amazed by the treasures in the Egyptian Museum before boarding an overnight train to Aswan.
Days 3 and 4 Aswan
Vist a Nubian village on Elephantine Island. Find out about the way of life here as we have the unique opportunity to be invited for an authentic dinner in a local home. The following day take the opportunity to explore what many consider to be one of Egypt's most impressive temples, Abu Simbel.
Day 5 Felucca
Spend a day and night aboard our felucca, a traditional Nile sailing boat. Kick back, relax and enjoy the scenery as you are looked after by our Nubian crew. Take full advantage of our one of a kind support boat which always seems to conveniently appear when you most need it for meals, cold drinks, or a quick shower to cool yourself off.
Days 6 and 7 Luxor
Explore Luxor and its surrounding highlights such as Kamak Temple and the Luxor Museum. Ride a donkey 'egyptian style' to the West Bank and visit the incredible Valley of the Kings.
Day 8
Returning to Cairo by plane on the morning of our final day our tour concludes on arrival at Cairo International Aiport.

Accommodation: Simple hotels (5 nts). Sleeper trains (1 nt). Felucca (with support boat for toilet/showers) (1 nt.).
Transport: Private air-conditioned van, Train, Camel, Felucca. Donkey Walking. Plane Luxor to Cairo.
